Education

The Centre for Ethics, Law and Mental Health provides education and tutoring of master theses, doctoral projects and residential training for personnel working in the governmental organisations responsible for adolescent and adult criminal offenders with mental health problems.

Educational goals

  • Tutoring inter-disciplinary master and doctoral theses within the area.
  • Contribute with supervision resources for personnel working within The National Board of Forensic Medicine, the Forensic Psychiatric Care Clinics in Sweden, and within the Prison and Probation Services.
  • Contribute with supervision resources for residential training in relevant areas of knowledge.
  • Disseminate knowledge about forensic psychiatry and broaden recruitment of especially forensic psychiatrists and psychologists.
  • Arrange scientific seminars on topics of relevance for the governmental organisations responsible for adolescent and adult criminal offenders with mental health problems.
